Several years ago I personally witnessed Nelson Mandela, standing in front of his former prison cell on Robben Island, addressing the world's press. His message was that the pandemic of HIV/AIDS in africa was in fact, a genocide. Since that time I resolved to do as much as I can to bring attention to the HIV/AIDS crisis.

SING At The 2010 Festival Of Politics
Annie Lennox returned to the Festival Of Politics in Holyrood on Thursday 19 August, to provide an update on developments of The SING Campaign one year on. Those in attendance found out about the positive impact SING and the Treatment Action Campaign continue to have on people living with HIV/AIDS.
Annie was also a panel member, alongside Martin Bell and Mark Thomas during Power of the People, a session examining how people who are not professional politicians can have a significant impact upon the political landscape, and how this affects parliaments and government.
